Scripture
“So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” — John 16:22

Reflection
Joy is not the absence of problems—it is the presence of God.
So many of us spend our days searching for happiness in things that change—people, situations, outcomes. But happiness fades when those things shift. True joy, however, is different. It is deeper. It is steady. It remains, even when life feels uncertain.

Jesus reminds us that there is a kind of joy no one can take away. That kind of joy isn’t rooted in circumstances—it is found in Him.   As believers, especially as women of faith, we carry a quiet strength. Even in seasons of waiting, pain, or confusion, joy is still available to us. Not because everything is perfect, but because God is still good.
Joy comes when we trust Him.
Joy grows when we stay in His presence.
Joy overflows when we remember His promises.
You may be praying for your family, standing in the gap for others, or simply trying to stay strong—and yet, joy is still yours.   Not the loud, temporary kind. But a deep, peaceful assurance that God is with you, for you, and working through every moment.

Application
Today, choose to anchor your heart in God’s presence, not your circumstances. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and remind yourself: God is with me.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of joy that cannot be taken away. Help me to stop chasing temporary happiness and instead rest in Your presence. Teach me to trust You in every season, knowing that You are good and You are with me. Let Your joy fill my heart today and overflow into every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Declaration
I choose joy today—not because of what I see, but because of Who I know.

A Declaration of Purpose and Identity

A Declaration of Purpose and IdentityI declare that I am a child of God, created with purpose and called by name. I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Today, I choose to walk in love, forgiveness, and the fruits of the Spirit, reflecting the heart of Jesus in everything I do. Amen.
