Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
There are moments in life when heaven feels silent. You pray, you wait, you hope—but nothing seems to change. In those quiet seasons, it’s easy to feel forgotten or overlooked. But God’s silence is not His absence.
Sometimes, God is doing His deepest work in the stillness.
Just because you don’t see movement doesn’t mean He isn’t moving. Roots grow in hidden places before anything breaks through the surface. In the same way, God is strengthening your faith, shaping your character, and preparing your heart for what’s ahead.
Being still is not about doing nothing—it’s about trusting completely. It’s choosing to rest in God’s promises even when your situation doesn’t make sense. It’s believing that He is working behind the scenes, aligning things in ways you cannot yet see.
If you find yourself in a quiet season today, don’t lose heart. Stay planted. Stay faithful. Stay in His presence.
God has not forgotten you.
He is just not finished yet.
Prayer:
Lord, in moments when I don’t hear You, help me to trust You. Teach me to be still and rest in Your presence. Strengthen my faith in the waiting, and remind me that You are always working, even when I cannot see it. Amen.
